Rogan Ladies Night at its Bowery shop. It invited more than ten accessory designers/vendors to join the night.
Below is vintage jewlery dealer, Eve Tobolka. Love the necklace that she was wearing that day. Her website is here-Alynne Lavigne
Miki Tanaki’s insect cufflinks are lovely.
I’m obssesed with accessories recently. There are too many great selections to buy.
Below Baggu bags are fun, cool, and practical. I’ve seen it in a few of selection shops in NYC already.
I like her glasses, the rolled up sleeve blazer, and red nail polish.

Pop-Pop-Pop-Up
One of the pop up shops that I attended past two weeks was in an art gallery at Hell’s Kitchen.
My girlfriend Patty Yoon and her sister created below line Bhon. I love the double necklines and the asymmetric design.Below is the eco-friendly collection by Study. Designer Tara St. James won the Ecco Domani Eco Fashion award this year.
H Fredriksson was also a brand that caught my eyes

Backyard Secret
Saturday at In God We Trust Greenpoint location, where they held the Backyard Bazaar event which included more than 12 artists presenting their merchants. I especially loved the hand made oxford from Osborn by the married duo Aaron Osborn and Clara Osborn.
All the shoes are hand crafted in Guatemala.
Love the purple and white oxford on below left.Below: Pair t-shirt and black denim with colorful embroidery boots is the way to go.

It’s also great that the way In God We Trust created this event and gathered small local designers in which to help them with more exposures to the market. It’s definitely a fun and warm event!

Chance is Here
The girls are from the new clothing shop in Nolita, called Chance. They rode the bike and made the stop at Greenwich Village to hand out the cute little candies.
The guy in the next picture was working at Marc Jacobs across the street and asking for candies to share with his co-workers.The across from where I stood was the spot where I met Valentino and took picture of him. Wouldn’t you say that all is because I got chance?
Chungking Express
This week in New York City, you’ll need a practical raincoat like this. He reminds me of Hong Kong director Wong Kar Wai’s film Chungking Express, where the woman in blonde wig says: “Somehow I’ve become very cautious. When I put on a raincoat, I put on sunglasses too. Who knows when it will rain, or when it will turn out sunny?”
oh man, I miss that movie!
Fay Leshner
It’s hard to find words to describe or explain what Fay Leshner is wearing. Her strong personal style brought the attention to power bloggers such as Sartorialist, and Street Peeper.
ba&sh
I met up with a girlfriend on the weekend who wore this bag which she bought in Paris that I absolutely adore. It is the french label ba&sh.
Great handbags needn’t any label shouted on it,
such as this one, with soft leather and fresh design.
I’ve checked on their E-Shop, which this bag is nowhere to be seen.
It’s always the one that you couldn’t get that you wanted the most.
And this applies to many things in life.
Valentino
It’s so great to see the legend of fashion world in real life!
Up Date 5/16/11
So the story goes like this:
On a Stormy Sunday afternoon, after a night twisted my neck, I bared the pain and went on search for street styles in Greenwich Village, NY .
Just when I about to give up, he showed up in my face, as though from nowhere. I hesitated for about 3 minutes to gather my guts, then there I went..
“Excuse me” I said to one of his friend, (don’t have enough courage to ask him directly), “I’m just a fan,(wouldn’t all fans start with this line to begin with?)
We shaken our hands, and his friend took picture for the great Valentino and the little me. That was the most intense picture I’ve ever taken for a long long time(Last time with Edward Norton back in 2002).
I told them about my blog then the friend who took picture for us yelled out “OH, She’s a BLOGGER”..
Alright, in these days, aren’t we all bloggers.
